SSS #8 : 3 things to fix your life & business (in 30 minutes)

For 99% of people, work, life, and finances feel like a trap.

But if you’re one of them, you can be in the 1% with a 30-minute exercise.

You only need these 3 things to fix it.

Wake up.
Feel stressed.
Stuck with the same routine.
Feel like moving, but no progress.

It’s not a bad day. It’s a bad cycle you’re stuck in.

You lose your drive.
Opportunities pass you by.
You see others move ahead while you stay stuck.

This cycle doesn’t just keep you where you are—it puts you behind.

Breaking out of this cycle isn’t easy, but it’s 99.99% possible.
You just need the right approach and mindset.
I found the answer in an unexpected place.

I’ve admired Naval Ravikant’s work for a long time.

But I only recently started reading “The Almanack of Naval Ravikant.”

This book is full of timeless principles and have highly practical and foundational advices.

That’s where I found these 3 things to fix anything in life easily (specifically business).

To fix your life and business, you need the combination of 3 things:

  • Specific Knowledge
  • Things To Leverage
  • Accountability for Output

The more you have, the more you will become free and successful.
(I’ll explain how to combine them at the end of this thread)

1) What is Specific Knowledge?

This is the kind of knowledge that can’t be taught, only learned through experience, passion, and curiosity.

It’s unique to you.
It’s something you naturally excel at and love to dive deep into.
This is your competitive edge over others.

Examples of specific knowledge one can have:

  • Good at selling naturally
  • Skilled in technology and creativity
  • Expert in a unique field
  • Great at solving tough problems
  • Talented at telling stories
  • Has a natural artistic sense
  • Creates new products easily
  • Thinks strategically by nature

No one can compete with you on being you.

How to find your specific knowledge:

It’s about figuring out what you did as a kid or as a teenager almost effortlessly—something you didn’t even consider a skill but that people around you noticed.

  • What do you enjoy doing that feels like play to you but work for others?
  • What kind of advice do your family, friends, or circle seek from you?
  • What skills come naturally to you?

People who enjoy their business engage in monetizing their specific knowledge.

Other ways to find your specific knowledge:

  1. Reflect on childhood passions.

  2. Pursue what feels like play.

  3. Follow genuine curiosities.

  4. Iterate on your strengths.

  5. Combine unique skills.

2) Finding Things to Leverage

Leverage is about getting more output from less input.

It’s how you multiply your efforts and results without multiplying your work.

Leverage can take many forms, from technology to capital to people.

3 Types of Leverage:

  1. Labor – other people work for you.

  2. Money – your money works for you, and when you make decisions, you multiply it.

  3. Product with no marginal cost – products that cost nothing extra to replicate.

The ability to gather knowledge to build wealth can be your specific knowledge, and you can use it as leverage.

It’s not about how hard you work; it’s about knowing what to do, with whom to do it, and when to do it. This is a form of knowledge leverage.

Joe Rogan makes millions a year from his podcast because he uses the leverage of media.

Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates—they use code-based leverage to create products that scale without additional effort.

Their wealth isn’t tied to the hours they work—it’s tied to the systems they’ve built.

3) Accountability

Accountability means putting your name on the line.

It’s about standing behind your work, whether you succeed or fail.

The more accountable you are (for the output), the more wealthy you become.

Most people are tied to doing things where input and output are connected.

You have limited energy and bandwidth, so there’s a cap on the input you can add.
That caps the output you can produce.

Do work where your output isn’t tied directly to your input.

Examples: SaaS products, digital products—you give input in creation once, and then, based on marketing, output can be scaled as much as you want without recreating products again and again.

With the combination of Specific Knowledge, Accountability for output, Leverage, and the right judgment, you can get paid on scale continuously.

Embrace accountability and take ownership of your work.
The more accountability you take, the higher the risk, but also the higher the reward.

Be the person others can rely on, and your value will skyrocket.

Combining these 3 elements—Specific Knowledge, Leverage, and Accountability—creates a powerful feedback loop.

As you gain more knowledge, you find better leverage.
As you take more accountability, your rewards grow exponentially.

But the magic happens when you combine all three.
Align your Specific Knowledge with the right Leverage.
Take full Accountability for your outcomes.

This combination unlocks freedom, success, and continuous growth.

It’s a simple formula, but not an easy one.
It requires self-reflection, smart decisions, and the courage to stand by your work.
But once you do, you’ll join the 1% who feel empowered, not trapped.

So, take 30 minutes today to reflect on these 3 elements:

  • What is your Specific Knowledge?
  • How can you create Leverage?
  • Where can you take more Accountability?

This exercise could be the start of your journey to breaking free.

Remember, it’s not about working harder; it’s about working smarter.

Align your skills, leverage your strengths, and own your outcomes.

That’s the path to freedom and success.

And don’t forget—this journey isn’t about perfection.

It’s about progress.

Keep moving forward, and you’ll find yourself in the 1%.
