For us, Motivation fueled with Emotions is the driving force for any action or decision.
There are many theories & research behind this.
And great businesses & marketers understand this concept very well.
Whether an ad copy or a sales page, Big Brands never misses an opportunity to infuse the human motivation factors in their communication.
But what about those who don’t understand or are unaware of this concept?
Well, for all those, I will explain how they can use Human Motivation to make their audience do what they want them to do.
I will be explaining this using “Life Force 8.”
This concept will explode your mind (even if you have heard about this, I am sure you have never used it this way).
It will allow you to communicate your message in different ways, your audience wants to listen in various phases of your customer journey.
Using this model, you can quickly build more Authority & authenticity with your brand.
Unfortunately, many businesses don’t even take the time to use this insane power in their marketing and branding.
Hard Data Points Are Incomplete Without Human Desires
When it comes to marketing, understanding human behavior or psychology is the most critical way of doing things the right way, which people don’t.
- You have a poor understanding of your target customer’s emotions.
- You want to develop an effective marketing and branding strategy but don’t know where to begin.

He states that the following 8 things are basic human instincts:
- Survival, enjoyment of life, life extension
- Enjoyment of food and beverages
- Freedom from fear, pain, and danger
- Sexual companionship
- Comfortable living conditions
- To be superior, winning, keeping up with the Joneses
- Care and protection of loved ones
- Social approval
Just to understand it better :
If you’re selling a business coaching service to help solopreneurs make more money, “more money” isn’t the only goal.
It’s so they can feed their families, feed themselves, pay their medical bills, and avoid foreclosure. This relates to #1, #2, #5, and #7
Let’s see how it works, considering you are selling marketing services as an example.

1. Survival, Enjoyment Of Life & Life Extension
What do you need to focus on?
How can you use your communication to convince people that you can help their survival?
Example :
Want to build a recession-proof company?
Having a regular flow of clients with a high retention rate would be best.
Your company needs a proven marketing strategy (with guaranteed results) to attract more & more new clients.
Why does this work?
No company wants to die. They want to stay, get stability and enjoy earnings

It relieves the stress of constantly working to acquire new clients.
3. Freedom From Fear, Pain, & Danger
What do you need to focus on?
How your marketing communication can alleviate their concerns about the future?
Example :

What do you need to focus on?
How can your communication assure them not to be alone?
Example :
Build your $100k / Month store that works on automation, takes almost no involvement of yours, and gives you enough time to date the person of your dreams.

We all have a biological need for companionship—that is how we are hardwired.
5. Comfortable Living Conditions
What do you need to focus on?
How can you use communication to bring clarity to a specific goal, so that they don’t have to worry and can be comfortable in achieving their dreams?
Example :
How we help Tom to change his life with our marketing strategies to scale his business from $12K / Month to $100K/ Month?
Why does this work?
This is a story of a person who scaled his business to make a comfortable living & you want this too.
6. To Be Superior
What do you need to focus on?
How does your communication make them feel superior and less concerned with what others think?
Example :

Why does this work?
We want to stay ahead then of others.
7. Care & Protection Of Loved Ones
What do you need to focus on?

Why does this work?
We as human beings always want to be protected in every way we can (Family, Business, Health, etc.)

What do you need to focus on?
How can your communication help them to be a part of society?

Why does this work?
Nobody likes to feel lonely. Getting social approval validates our existence and importance.
Remember, you don’t have to infuse every point in your marketing campaigns.
That would be extremely difficult.
However, satisfying one or two desires can make a significant difference.
Keep Testing. Examine the list to see what you can come up with.
